In class today we went over a power point on the words in Chi-cago Rome Rap. We went over and took notes on what was important.

Rome:

• Rome is in the middle of Italy 
• Italy is in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea
• Mind set in Rome is when Rome needs you to help you go no matter what
• The father figure in the house is always in control "pater familias"
• Rome was military culture Rome made their army more nimble then the Greeks
• Rome would take over places and then they would included the people in the Roman culture 
• They would make the people their allies not enemies

Ancient Rome 

In class today we talked a bunch about how Rome was founded. We discussed how the Romans followed the Greeks and that we followed the Roman in the way we govern America.

In class today we watch a video. I really enjoyed the video, it really made me think about what it was saying. Its crazy how old that thought was and it was right on track of whats going in the world now. I really liked class today!!

In class today we went over the skills on paper writings.

In class today we went over the Greece test. Mr. Schick was not very happy about the income of the grades. I think my class was the class that did the poorest. Hope we can do better next time. Also some people in our class need to stop talking while Mr. Schick is talking because for some people that is very distracting. 

SPRING BREAK

Mr. Schick was back in class today. We walked in and my group turned in our paper on Art and Architecture. I really hope that we do good. TODAY WAS OUR LAST DAY OF SCHOOL UNTIL SPRING BREAK, I CAN'T WAIT TO LEAVE!!! HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT TRIP MR. SCHICK, ENJOY YOUR BREAK!!!
